April Theme: Nature's Patterns
In this final session of our Patterns of Nature series, I will guide you through creating a colourful mixed media panel spread inspired by tulip fields in bloom. We will work with a limited colour palette and explore a gentle “zooming in” technique, focusing on different elements within the image to build up an engaging composition.
You are welcome to bring any materials you enjoy using — from paints and markers to pencils and crayons. I will begin by blocking in the larger areas of colour and then slowly refine the piece with more detailed tools such as coloured pencils and pens.
This is a relaxed and playful session, with plenty of room for experimentation. The tulip fields, with their beautiful rows and vibrant colours, bring a little touch…
