January Theme: Winter Quiet
I am so happy to welcome you to our very first art class of 2026. It feels really special to begin a new creative year together.
For January, I have chosen the theme Winter Quiet.January often feels like a pause. A time for reflection, softness, and slower days. A moment to breathe after the busyness of December. I love the stillness of this time of year, and I wanted our first class to reflect that calm.
In this session, we will paint and draw with that feeling in mind.We will begin with watercolours and then add coloured pencils on top once the paint is dry. I will use a hairdryer to speed things up a little, so we can move gently from one stage to the next.
