How to Work with an Artist in 2025: Art Classes, Commissions, Group Events, and Team-Building Experiences.

As we approach 2025, I’m excited to share all the ways you can work with an artist like me in the coming year. Whether you’re looking to develop your own creative skills, seek inspiration, or even collaborate on a meaningful project, there are plenty of opportunities to join my journey and be part of a vibrant, creative community.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many amazing people from all walks of life, whether through my online classes, in-person events, or creative collaborations. The New Year is a perfect time to explore how art and creativity can add meaning to your life. So, let me take you through the various ways you can work with me in 2025.

1. Join My Online Community and Art Classes

One of the easiest and most accessible ways to work with me in 2025 is by joining my online art community and enrolling in my online art classes. My classes are designed for people of all levels and focus on everything from drawing and painting to mindfulness through creativity. Whether you’re a beginner looking to start your artistic journey or someone with more experience, you’ll find something that suits your needs and interests.

Being part of my online community means you’ll get regular access to new courses, live sessions, and feedback on your work. You can also connect with like-minded individuals, share your progress, and find inspiration in a supportive, inclusive environment. Plus, with my global reach, you can join from anywhere in the world, making it easier than ever to start your creative journey.

2. Learn in Person in Cambridge

If you prefer a more hands-on approach, my in-person art classes in Cambridge are a fantastic way to engage directly with me. These classes provide a more intimate, focused experience where you can get personal feedback, explore different techniques, and learn new artistic skills. From watercolour painting to portraiture and mixed media, I offer a wide variety of workshops to help you grow your creativity.

These sessions are great for those who thrive in a classroom setting and prefer face-to-face learning. Whether you're new to art or looking to refine your skills, my in-person classes are designed to provide a calm, mindful space to work and create at your own pace.

3. Book Me for Speaking Engagements and Podcast Appearances

In addition to teaching art, I love sharing my insights on creativity, mindfulness, and the healing power of art. In 2025, I’ll be continuing my speaking engagements at events, podcasts, and radio shows. If you’re organising an event or looking for a speaker, I’d love to come and share my experiences, tips, and strategies on how to overcome creative block, how to use art for self-expression and healing, and the impact of creativity on mental well-being.

Over the years, I’ve spoken on various platforms about the importance of creativity in our lives, and I’m passionate about helping others understand the therapeutic nature of making art. If you’re hosting a podcast or event related to creativity, mindfulness, or art, feel free to reach out – I’d be thrilled to collaborate!

I'm excited to share that in 2025, I will also be speaking about my new book, which delves into the intersection of creativity, mindfulness, and personal growth. This book explores how art can be a transformative tool for healing, overcoming creative blocks, and nurturing mental well-being. It’s a guide for those looking to unlock their creative potential, whether they are seasoned artists or complete beginners. Through personal anecdotes, exercises, and reflective prompts, I aim to inspire readers to reconnect with their creative selves and discover the profound benefits of engaging in art. If you’re looking for a speaker who can bring fresh insights into the healing power of creativity and its role in our lives, this book is central to the conversations I’m leading at events, podcasts, and workshops.

4. Organise Art Events for Corporate or Group Sessions

Another great way to work with me in 2025 is by booking me for art events, either for corporate team-building days or group workshops. I specialise in creating tailored art experiences for businesses and groups, which help foster creativity, mindfulness, and collaboration.

Whether it’s an away day, team-building exercise, or a creative retreat, I can bring all the art materials to your location, or you can host the event at my studio in Cambridge. These events are a fun, engaging way to inspire creativity and teamwork in a relaxed environment. The benefits of these sessions go beyond just learning new artistic skills; they also help nurture creativity and innovation within teams, making them a valuable addition to any workplace.

5. Purchase Original Artwork and Commissions

For those who are interested in acquiring unique art pieces, I offer original artwork and commissions. While I don’t often list my originals on my website, I am always open to creating custom pieces, whether it's a personal commission, an illustration for a book, or artwork for magazines, websites, or other projects.

I work with clients who value art with purpose – socially conscious themes, environmental causes, and work that speaks to the heart. If you have a project that aligns with my personal values of sustainability, nature, and social change, I’d love to discuss how I can contribute through custom illustrations or artwork. Whether it's for a special occasion, a gift, or a lasting addition to your home or workspace, creating bespoke pieces that resonate with people is one of the most rewarding parts of my practice.

6. Children’s Book Illustrations

Another exciting way to collaborate with me in 2025 is through children’s book illustrations. I take on one or two book illustration projects a year, and I’d love to work with authors who are passionate about making a positive impact through their stories. If you’re an author or publisher looking for an illustrator, particularly for books that tackle important social or environmental themes, I would be delighted to chat with you. I’ve illustrated books that focus on topics such as healthcare, sustainability, and empathy, and I’m always eager to bring new stories to life through art.

7. Collaborate on Socially Conscious Projects

I believe art has the power to create positive change, and I’m always looking for ways to collaborate on projects that are socially or environmentally conscious. If you’re working on an initiative or campaign that aligns with my values, I’d love to hear from you. From illustrating educational materials to contributing art for environmental campaigns, I’m passionate about supporting causes that matter and using my artwork to amplify important messages.

Wrapping Up: Let’s Work Together in 2025

As you can see, there are many ways you can work with me in 2025. Whether you’re looking to join my online community, learn in person, collaborate on a creative project, or purchase original artwork, I’m excited to continue building connections with you. The upcoming year holds so much potential, and I truly believe that when we come together through creativity, we can inspire positive change.
