Watercolour Week - for community members only

Hi  my lovely creative.

I have a few watercolour sketchbooks with lovely 100% cotton paper that I am itching to use.

At the same time I don't seem to find a good reason to start them. I just know that I will paint a few pages and then I'll get distracted by other new and shiny projects and my lovely watercolour sketchbook will end up on the pile with half filled other sketchbooks.

I am surely not the only one that this happens to right?

I decided to give myself a deep dive challenge and to take you with me on that journey!

introduce: WATERCOLOUR WEEK

Watercolour week will take place in week 25 - (17 to 21 June) in the Makings and Musings Creative Community.

I will challenge myself to complete all 24 pages of this watercolour sketchbook this week and I will share my progress every day in my community. That means I will challenge myself to paint 4 or 5 pages in this sketchbook every day of watercolour week.

To help myself I have set a theme: loose landscapes

Watercolour week will ONLY run in the community - to join in you will need to be a community member.

I will host a live session on zoom every day of Watercolour Week

To help you with your own watercolour journey I will host a live session on zoom every single day that week where we paint a loose watercolour landscape together.

whether you will complete a full sketchbook or "only" a few paintings, a group challenge like this can really help you push your art to the next level.

This will be the first time I will host a week such as this one and I am excited and curious to see how it goes.
