My pumpkin came out rather lop sided but then, pumpkins are natural things and aren’t always symmetrical. Loved using alcohol markers for colour blocking, they make a great base for the pencils.

Yes, Markers and Pencils are a great match! Worth keeping it in mind when you want to do a full colour drawing and you find Burnishing too tiring!
