I thought I would share a little process and ask if people think the piece was better before or after


This is from the Mindful Watercolor class.

I prefers it with the washi tape. I felt the dark really made the lighter shapes more vibrant.

I couldn’t duplicate the density of the pattern on the washi tape, so I used some dark blue fountain pen ink and very small paint brush to create a similar pattern

it is beautiful.

I think the difference in appearing is because of the ratio Black to White, In the washi tape is more black than white. In the pattern is more white.

Oh, I see, Irene mentioned it, too.
