Still Life Drawing Tonight
Tonight we are going to draw a still life together, and I am really looking forward to it. I love still life because it has a different atmosphere to landscapes or animals. It feels a little quieter and more focused, but it is also very playful.
We are going to look at colour first and Choose a colour palette together.

I like to keep my stills loose and a little bit wonky. I enjoy playing with colour and letting things be imperfect. This evening I am planning to work with wax crayons and wax and oil pastels, but you are very welcome to use any materials you enjoy. You can use pencils, paint, pens, or anything else you have nearby.
We will start with a simple sketch and then slowly add colour. I want this session to be about exploring colour, texture, and form, rather than about making something perfect.
