Watercolour painting a forrest tonight

We are going to be painting a wild, ancient forest in watercolour, focusing on moody colours, deep greens, and lots of layered, expressive brushwork. The idea is to create something a little overgrown, magical, and free, with plenty of room to play and experiment.
I will also be showing the difference between watercolours in tubes and watercolour pens/pans. I will be using a mix of both during the session so you can see how they behave side by side. You are very welcome to use whichever materials you already have, as they all work beautifully for this kind of painting. I might also add some details in watercolour pencil or watersoluble crayon at the end.
Because we will be working quite wet and building up layers, it would be helpful to have a hairdryer nearby if you have one, along with your usual watercolour set, brushes, paper, water, and something to blot your brush on.
