Update: The clocks in the US have changed to daylight changing time but the clocks here in the UK don't change until the 29th March. If you are joining from the US that means you have to check the time difference as for a few weeks there is an extra hour difference!

A little reminder that our colour pencil class is tonight at 6pm (UK time) on Zoom.

Our theme this month is Signs of Spring, and tonight we are drawing a joyful swimming otter in the river. I am not entirely sure if it is truly a spring image, but when I saw it I immediately felt that sense of movement and playfulness that comes with the season. Spring always brings a little more joy and colour, and I thought this otter captured that feeling beautifully.
I especially love the circular movement in the water, so we will play with that while we slowly build up our drawing together.
All you need is a set of colour pencils. Any type is completely fine:
wax-based or oil-based colour pencils
watercolour pencils
even pastel pencils if that is what you have
We will start with a light sketch and gently build up the colours together.
Also, have you had a chance to explore the new recordings library yet? I would really love to hear what you think. Was it easy to navigate? Did you discover a class you did not realise we had? I put a lot of love into setting it up, so I would really appreciate your thoughts.
