How can art help?
Art is a powerful tool to help improve wellness, productivity, and happiness. Art Therapy is even a form of psychotherapy that uses art-making activities to help individuals explore their emotions, gain insight, reduce stress, and improve their overall well-being. Art can be a great way to express yourself in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Through the use of creative activities, such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and other forms of art-making, you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and gain a better understanding of yourself and your relationships with others.
Art can provide an outlet for stress and anxiety, and create positive energy and motivation to tackle difficult tasks. Additionally, it can help to improve self-confidence, reduce negative thinking, and give individuals a sense of purpose and joy. Art can be a great way to boost overall wellness, productivity, and happiness.
How art helped me
I started to paint again as a way to deal with grief. After my nan passed away I took all her art materials home and by using them on a daily basis I worked through my grief painting by painting.
I often hear from my creatives that joining my art classes and creative community helps then battle loneliness and to me that shows how art is not only a means to personal wellness but how it can connect people too!
Art for team building

Painting together can be used to create shared experiences and foster collaboration. It can provide a space for people to express their ideas and feelings. Art can also be used to create lasting memories. Through art, people can share stories and experiences that they can look back on fondly. This can help keep teams connected and motivated.
